Escape is a brief adventure game that blends puzzle solving with visual novel storytelling. You wake up in an unfamiliar room and must figure out how to get out. Click to interact with objects and people, figuring out a strange situation piece by piece. The narrative unfolds through dialogue and environmental clues, with a runtime that fits into a single sitting. Simple mechanics focus on exploration and logic, though the tight scope leaves little room for complexity. Made in 48 hours for Asylum Jam 2013, Escape shows surprising polish for a jam entry. Developer Andrea Ritsu and Tomasz Chodakowski crafted a coherent mystery with voice work from Zachary Furniss. An expanded version was planned but never released after 2014. While short and modest, it’s a curious artifact of indie experimentation. Players looking for a quick puzzle story might find it intriguing, though the abrupt ending and minimal polish could feel underdeveloped. Still, its compact design makes it easy to try.
