ESPN Extreme Games drops you into a wild mix of sports and combat set in 1995. Race on inline skates, street luge, skateboards, and mountain bikes across chaotic urban and natural terrain. Each event blends high-speed action with sudden bursts of fistfights and kicks against opponents. The split screen lets two players duke it out locally while navigating ramps, cable cars, and obstacles. Physics feel loose but responsive making wipeouts and midair flips frequent. The game stands out for its chaotic energy and variety. Six themed courses span San Francisco to fictional "Money Level" locations with hidden shortcuts. Four difficulty settings keep the challenge fresh though the learning curve is steep. While not graphically ambitious by today’s standards retro fans praise its raw energy and creative physics-based gameplay. The DOS and PlayStation versions handle differently but both capture the over-the-top spirit of early 90s arcade-style sports games.
