Ether Vapor is a 3D shooter from Edelweiss that lets you switch between vertical scrolling, horizontal blasting, and cinematic chase sequences. You control a ship that weaves through waves of enemies while firing rapid volleys. The camera constantly shifts to keep the action dynamic and fast paced. The constantly changing perspectives make every moment feel fresh. It’s a short but punchy experience that still shows up in retro shooter discussions. PC only since 2007.
