Euphory is a medieval action RPG where you play as Rafael or Falram, siblings seeking a cure for their ailing mother. The game mixes exploration and combat as you travel through towns to buy gear and navigate hostile areas. Defeating enemies gives gold and healing items but skips traditional experience systems. Some sections require precise platforming like jumping and swimming to reach key locations. The co-operative mode lets two players control the siblings simultaneously, a rarity in 1987 releases. Developed by System Sacom for the Sharp X1, it stands out for its early focus on teamwork and accessible combat loops. While it lacks deep RPG mechanics, the split-screen co-op and lack of grind keep it brisk and focused.
