Excitebots: Trick Racing lets you zip through massive tracks inspired by real-world locations on the Wii. Use the Wii remote sideways or the optional Wii Wheel to pull off flips, spins, and ramps while collecting power-ups. Each of the 25 courses spans two laps giving you room to soar high and carve wild paths. Focus on tricks and speed to beat opponents in single player or take on friends in split-screen races. The game stands out for its responsive controls and chaotic multiplayer options. Up to four players can race locally with split-screen adding to the mayhem. While not packed with deep customization, the variety of tracks and trick combinations keeps races feeling fresh. Released in 2009 it still holds up as a fun party option for quick bursts of over-the-top racing.
