Exodus Guilty Alternative follows Kasumi Shindo, a high school student and secret treasure hunter, as he chases the lost 11th Commandment of Moses. Set in 2000 Japan and southern Europe, the game uses point-and-click mechanics with occasional action sequences. Players manage inventory and dialogue options to navigate Kasumi’s dual life, solving puzzles to progress through archeological sites and urban environments. The story hinges on uncovering hidden artifacts while avoiding rival hunters and balancing personal relationships. Developed by Abel Software and released in 2002, this PC version adapts an older visual novel with light gameplay additions. It lacks modern polish but maintains a focused mystery with period-specific details. Community reviews note its straightforward adventure structure and dated presentation, though some appreciate the niche blend of school life and treasure-hunting scenarios. The game remains a curiosity for fans of early 2000s PC adventures.
The year 2000. Kasumi Shindo is at first glance a run-of-the-mill high school student in modern-day Japan. However, beneath his normal appearance, Kasumi is in fact a top-notch treasure hunter. This time, Kasumi is aiming to seek out the lost 11th Commandment of Moses. Kasumi discovers that his childhood friend, Reina Tachibana is in southern Europe participating in an archeological dig. Pretending to be a tourist, he visits the excavation area and manages to get put on the excavation staff. But he is not the only treasure hunter looking for the Eleventh Commandment of Moses and before he knows it, he's embroiled in a dangerous adventure.
