About

Faith: Chapter II is a pixel art horror game that channels the tense atmosphere of 1980s retro computing. Set in rural Connecticut, it follows a priest tangled in a demonic investigation after a family’s tragic encounter with the occult. Players navigate dimly lit environments, solve eerie puzzles, and avoid nightmarish entities in a story steeped in Satanic Panic era paranoia. The lack of modern technology amplifies the dread, no cell phones, just flickering CRTs and static-laced radio whispers. The game’s retro aesthetic and tight narrative stand out, blending MS-DOS-era visuals with a chilling storyline. Though delisted in favor of a 2022 trilogy release, its cult following praises its atmospheric tension and historical homage. Fans of low-poly horror and period-specific dread might find its 8-bit scares and occult themes compelling, even if it’s no longer widely available.

Storyline

On September 21, 1986, two priests arrived at the Martin Family home in rural Connecticut to investigate an apparent case of demonic possession. Only two people would leave the house alive. After confronting unspeakable dark entities and narrowly escaping with his life, a young priest descends into a new nightmare.
