Two difficulty settings change the rules: one guarantees an anomaly appears eventually, while the other leaves you guessing if anything is even there. The tension comes from not knowing what’s real. Nightmare Mode amplifies this by making you question every empty room or silent corridor. Without handholding or clear goals, you’re left piecing together the dream’s logic through trial and error. It’s a minimalist horror game that leans into ambiguity, letting empty spaces and quiet moments unsettle you more than any monster ever could.
