About

This golf game features Mario and Luigi competing on real Japanese courses from the mid 80s. Players hit shots using directional inputs and power meters. The single player mode pits them against AI opponents across 18-hole layouts. Basic physics handle ball flight and bounce. A disk-based Famicom release with minimal graphics by today's standards but functional controls. Only available in Japan at launch on the short lived disk system. Cult following among retro gamers due to historical placement between Nintendo's two earlier golf titles. Some modern players appreciate the direct gameplay over visuals. Has resurged in collector circles due to the hardware's rarity. A small but dedicated audience keeps it discussed in vintage gaming forums.
