Fantasy is a 2D arcade game from SNK launched in 1981. You play a hero racing to save his girlfriend from pirates, only to face endless waves of enemies after the rescue. Each level shifts to a new chaotic setting, like steering a balloon, dodging traps on a pirate ship, or outrunning tribesmen in a village. You control everything with just a joystick, relying on quick reflexes to avoid hazards. Occasionally the hero can swing a sword automatically, but most of the time it’s all about timing jumps and survival. The game stands out for its relentless pace and varied stage designs.
