Fascination is a rare, unreleased title from Nintendo R&D1 that appeared at the 1974 American Amusement Machine Exhibition. It utilized the Laser Clay Shooting System to let players aim and fire at targets on an arcade cabinet screen. The game featured a single player mode where users engaged with clay pigeon style shooting mechanics without any physical projectiles leaving the machine. What makes this project stand out is its hidden history as one of Nintendo's earliest forays into adult-oriented content before the company focused entirely on family entertainment. Despite never seeing a commercial release, it remains a curious footnote in arcade development.
