About

Father, Son & Holy Guns is a chaotic action RPG where you and up to four friends fight Lovecraftian horrors with gunpowder and religious zeal. You play as a Gunsader, a warrior for the Church of Humanity, using faith-powered weapons to battle alien cults and extract oil from the damned. Each run mixes procedural maps with frantic brawling, letting you upgrade gear and unlock new abilities while balancing damage, healing, and holy tech. The game leans into absurdity with its premise, prayers boost bullets, and holy symbols turn into grenades, while keeping combat tight and responsive for solo or co-op play. What sets it apart is its wild mix of sci-fi schlock and biblical bombast, blending industrial-era tech with cosmic dread. With 85% of 5,000 users rating it four stars, it’s praised for its fast loops and over-the-top lore. The co-op mechanics thrive in shared chaos, though solo runs feel just as punchy. The art style, gritty steampunk meets eerie cosmic horror, sticks out, and the Church’s authoritarian tone adds a dark edge to the otherwise goofy premise. It’s a game that leans all-in on its madness, and it works.

Storyline

When our gods hear no prayer, only bullets are the answer. Join the crusade against aliens as one of the Gunsaders of the Church. Team up with friends online and embark on holy missions to fend off the frantic hordes of cosmic horror, inspired by Lovecraft mythos. Burn the sinners. Extract the human-oil. And prove your faith to the Church Of Humanity. The mysterious bullet shaped objects were found all over the world by various religious groups, granting them knowledge beyond their time. Such events propelled humanity into the age of industrial technology, controlled absolutely by the religious organizations, and quickly spurred the flame of crusade and expansion in the name of their gods. But the greatest threat lies in shadow, beyond the farthest stars. Unknown powers, alien to our world, had already seeped across the lands and formed their own cults. The invasion of the Outer Gods put their petty conflicts to a sudden stop, and all barrels turned towards their common enemies. Thus, erected the Church of Humanity, the one true faith above all, the one of oil, steel and gunpowder. The battle of influence between earth and stars begins here. May the Bullet lead us to yellow light.
