Faunamorph is a 2D action-platformer where you reshape your body by merging animal traits to solve puzzles and battle enemies. As a shape-shifting creature, you mix DNA from frogs, birds, and more to create hybrid forms that let you leap further, swim faster, or claw through obstacles. The game’s world is built around exploration, with interconnected areas that require specific mutations to unlock. Combat blends quick reflexes with strategic form-switching, as mutated enemies adapt to your evolving abilities. The standout hook is its DNA recombination system, which lets you design custom hybrids by combining traits in any order. Early builds might prioritize speed, while later ones mix flight and aquatic skills for verticality. Though still in development, early builds show tight controls and a distinct art style that blends retro pixel art with genetic diagrams.
