Fēng Shén Bǎng is a one-on-one fighting game that hit the Famicom scene in 1996 across Asia. You pick from a roster of characters inspired by an old Chinese novel and take turns trading blows until one fighter drops. The graphics and moveset are actually ripped straight from a bootleg Dragon Ball Z title, but the developers swapped out the anime skins for figures from Investiture of the Gods to dodge copyright issues. It runs on the original hardware with no changes to how the game actually plays or feels under the hood. This title stands out because it is essentially a re-skin of Super Butōden 2 with a different story label. While Waixing released it officially in Japan and other regions, the gameplay remains identical to the SNES source code Hummer Technology created earlier. Players often note the strange mix of familiar moves and new character designs that lack official Nintendo backing. It sits in a weird spot for collectors who want a piece of bootleg history without needing to hunt down the original Japanese release. The community rates it as a curiosity more than a serious competitor in the fighting genre.
