Fight is an indie brawler set in the ancient ruins of Saqqar where players take control of one of many fighters drawn into a deadly treasure hunt. The game focuses on one on one matches with a variety of moves and stages each match shaped by the environment and character abilities. A story mode follows competitors lured by a treasure clue only to be trapped in a deadly illusion. The game’s charm comes from its cast of distinct fighters and the ruins that act as dynamic battlegrounds. While the 2020 release date means it’s already a few years old the simplicity of combat and random match generation keeps it fresh. Players can expect fast paced action without the complexity of deeper fighting game mechanics. The PlayStation 4 port remains a solid pick for quick bouts.

Storyline

Are you ready to Fight! Many fighters receive an anonymous message about the exact location of hidden treasure in the ancient ruins of Saqqar. As the fighters descend into the ancient ruins, driven by greed, little do they know an evil deception awaits them. The infamous Draegon is the creator of this deception, whose motive is to take the life force of the fighters by using mysterious illusions from other worlds to make them fight one another.
