About

Final Fight Revenge is a 3D fighting game built by Capcom's US team in 1999. It strips down the side-scrolling chaos of the original Final Fight series into one-on-one brawls with a focus on combos and agility. The arcade version runs on Sega’s ST-V hardware while the home Sega Saturn port arrived in Japan in 2000. Only three fighters are playable but the move sets are deep and responsive. Players can mix grapples, acrobatic kicks and weaponized moves in fast-paced matches. The Saturn version lacks online but supports local multiplayer. This title marks Capcom’s final official Sega Saturn release. Though a Dreamcast port was planned it never left the prototype stage. The Saturn build can be forced into English by switching system language settings despite its Japanese localization. Its 3D arenas retain the pixelated charm of classic 2D fighters while adding a layer of depth. Casual players appreciate the short match lengths while competitive types chase the game’s tight net code. With no sequel planned and a cult following online it remains a niche entry in the Final Fight lineage.
