Despite its 1990s tech limitations Fire Fighter nails the panic of a burning building. The enemy placement and level design force strategic route planning though some puzzles feel more like traps than challenges. The original 1988 arcade version had smoother mechanics but this port’s charm lies in its pixel-perfect panic.
