Flight Unlimited III drops you into the cockpit for civilian aviation around Seattle. Choose your own path or tackle missions in accurately modeled planes. Real-time weather and detailed landscapes add depth to each flight. Controls focus on realistic handling without overcomplicating things. Looking Glass Studios and Electronic Arts crafted this simulator with expanded physics and more aircraft options. It didn’t match the popularity of earlier entries though. Only about 20,000 copies sold in the US during its first year. Still the attention to detail and open-ended play make it a curiosity for aviation fans.
