Floribella is a side scrolling platformer where you take control of either the title character or Count Máximo. Navigate three distinct environments Garden Mansion and Palace each packed with obstacles and enemies. Complete missions by collecting items and defeating foes then face off against powerful bosses after each level. Simple controls focus on jumping attacking and solving light puzzles to progress through the story. The game’s premise leans into a whimsical fantasy twist on its source material a Portuguese soap opera. A witch’s spell turns garden animals into villains forcing Floribella to break the curse while stopping a love triangle plot. While the original 2007 release hasn’t aged well graphically fans of dated platformers appreciate the straightforward action and colorful if basic visuals.

Storyline

In the game, Floribella falls asleep and has a dream that involves Magda and Delfina in a chase of Count Máximo. When the game begins, Magda releases a spell on all the animals in the Garden against Floribella and turns them into evil creatures. The Wicked Witch prevents Floribella from meeting Count Máximo, because Delfina intends to marry him, even against her will. This will allow Delfina to buy some time and run away with Count Máximo. Floribella will have to rid the world of the witch's plague by freeing the animals from the evil spells. She will also have to prevent the Count from falling into Delfina's clutches. It all happens in a fantastic version! Definitely an adventure not to be missed!
