This visual novel sequel follows Erika at Saint Angraecum Academy as summer disrupts the fragile peace she tried to build. After Suou’s abrupt departure left emotional wreckage, Erika’s path crosses with Chidori, a sharp-tongued transfer student who challenges her guarded heart. Players navigate dialogue choices that shape relationships and uncover secrets, balancing school life with personal growth. The story unfolds through static scenes and text, with branching paths influencing how Erika and Chidori’s bond evolves. The game stands out for its focus on quiet, character-driven moments over grand drama. Reviews note the writing leans into subtle tension, like Chidori’s line about loving someone prompting players to weigh vulnerability against self-preservation. While it assumes familiarity with the first game’s plot, standalone elements make it approachable for newcomers. Available on PC and old handhelds, it caters to fans of slow-burn narratives with school romances and moral gray areas.
Erika/Chidori: "Have you ever thought of wanting to do something for the one you love?" This is the all-age sequel to FLOWERS -Le volume sur printemps-. In the season of first meetings, a girl with a wounded heart, Suou, found a friend and lover who would accept her. However, this friend and lover left the school without telling her the reason at the end of spring. Suou was in denial about her loss, and fellow bookworm Erika was gravely worried and looked for a way to heal Suou’s broken heart. With the early arrival of summer, a girl named Chidori transferred into the school. She met Erika by accident when Erika was coming back to the dorm and told Erika that she was a coward for stalking her. It was the worst first meeting for the two who would end up becoming each other's "Amitié."
