Flying Hero: Bugyuru no Daibouken is a 1992 Super Famicom shooter with a vibrant cartoonish look. You control Bugyuru a floating orb chasing a vampire named Bibyolo who stole his girlfriend Pao. Blast through stages filled with oddball enemies from buzzing monkeys to armored beetles while dodging hazards in tight scrolling levels. The controls emphasize quick reflexes with standard shoot and bomb mechanics but the chaotic enemy patterns keep things demanding. The game's art style stands out with its colorful whimsical designs that contrast with darker themes. Though buried in the 90s shooter scene its cult following persists thanks to a fan translation patch that let it reach wider audiences. Released only in Japan and long out of print copies now fetch high prices on vintage markets. With 85% of players on speedrun sites clearing it under 15 minutes it remains a niche but respected entry in the genre.
