The focus stays on tight melee combat and incremental progression as you unlock new abilities and gear between runs. What really sticks is the world's dark history. Every boss you fight ties into a larger story of a realm shattered by endless conflict. The characters aren't just fighters they each have backgrounds that tie into the war's aftermath. Community feedback shows it's a tough but fair challenge with a dedicated stream of players sharing strategies and speedrun attempts.
