You pilot a spaceship against towering enemy vessels that grow more chaotic the closer you get. Each opponent is a tangled tree of weapons: lasers sprout from cores, missiles from laser tips, and smaller guns multiply from there. The goal is to dismantle them piece by piece, starting with the weakest links. You shoot at the tiniest guns first, then work your way up to the core. The challenge comes from managing your own ammo and avoiding the swarms of projectiles these fractal ships unleash. The enemy designs stand out, no two fights look alike. Early levels feature spindly, easy-to-navigate structures while later bosses become dense, overlapping labyrinths of fire. It’s a minimalist shooter that leans into its central idea hard, with little extra fluff. Small indie releases from 2007 often get overlooked but this one has a clear vision. The Mac compatibility back then was also a nice touch for its audience.
