About

Fragment is a side-scrolling shooter where you guide Rose Ilya through collapsing mines teeming with corrupted enemies. These creatures were once miners exposed to toxic crystals that warped their bodies and minds. You carry a finite ammo supply forcing careful shot selection while scavenging for fragments that restore health or boost movement. The environment itself feels active with shifting platforms and sudden cave-ins adding tension to each advance toward the elusive Fountain of Life. The game includes full English voice acting and optional subtitles making dialogue clear without slowing pacing. Interactive tutorials pop up during gameplay rather than breaking immersion with separate lessons. Xbox 360 controllers work seamlessly with haptic feedback emphasizing key moments like taking damage or triggering special moves. Though released in 2019 it maintains a dedicated player base on PC with consistent mod support expanding content.
