About

Frankenstein: The Dismembered Bride by SOLILAB is a point-and-click adventure that mixes hidden-object gameplay with a macabre twist. You play as Brad, searching for his missing fiancée in a crumbling Bavarian mansion owned by a mad scientist. Each room is a static scene where you search for listed items, then collect pieces of Janet’s dismembered body. Later levels shift focus to scavenging machine parts, with both sets of components tracked in side tabs. A handy hint button illuminates one needed item at a time, though it resets slowly after each use. The game leans into its gory Frankenstein premise without overcomplicating the formula. Its static-room design and straightforward puzzles make it accessible, while the dark humor of reassembling a bride and a killer robot keeps things oddly charming. Though released in 2009, its blend of classic horror and casual gameplay still appeals to fans of lighthearted mystery titles. The hint system’s leniency ensures progress without frustration, making it a quick but memorable detour into Victorian-era body horror.

Storyline

Brad travels to Bavaria in a quest to find his missing fiancee Janet. His car breaks down near an old mansion, forcing him to enter the place in search for help. After exploring the rooms, he discovers that the house belongs to a scientist named Frankenstein and that Janet was dismembered and used as the latest experiment. Her body parts are still alive but scattered through various locations in the manor grounds. Brad must reassemble his bride and seek revenge against the mad scientist.
