Friend of a Slime casts you as a survivor teaming up with a gooey sidekick to battle through hordes of enemies in bite-sized 10-minute dungeons. You and your slime partner swap between offensive and defensive roles as you clear waves of foes, gathering coins and rare fruits to upgrade gear and buy artifacts that boost both of your abilities. The game lets you tackle these challenges alone or team up with a friend in co-op mode, adjusting enemy difficulty to match your group size. The slime’s sticky combat style and the game’s quick session design make it easy to pick up and play without long grind cycles. Community playtests highlighted the balance between strategy and chaos, especially when slimes stick to enemies or block paths. ChrioGames polished the formula with tight controls and a lighthearted art style. Launching July 2025 on PC and Linux, it’s a compact but satisfying blend of action and resource management.
