Fru is a puzzle platformer that turns your body into a gameplay tool. Using Kinect, it maps your silhouette as a portal between two worlds. Solve levels by shifting your stance to alter the environment balance physical gestures with jumping and timing. Four chapters each add new rules to the silhouette mechanic. Play solo or team up for co-op challenges. The game’s physical interaction stands out, swim through your shadow, strike poses to trigger switches, tiptoe to avoid hazards. Though released in 2016, the creative use of motion controls remains fresh for players who own Kinect.
