About

Fruits-mura no Doubutsu-tachi lets you spend time with a cast of animal pals in a quiet village filled with simple joys. The goal is to bond with each character by winning over 40 mini-games that range from puzzles to rhythm challenges. As trust grows, they contribute to the village by building homes and opening shops. Progression ties to seasonal events leading up to a festival, with each victory unlocking new interactions. The Game Boy Advance’s buttons and microphone get used in creative ways depending on the activity. The game’s charm lies in its low-pressure social systems and varied mini-games that keep repetition at bay. While the 2004 release date means visuals lean into pixelated simplicity, the colorful character designs and cheerful sound effects still land. Players who enjoy slow-burn relationship-building over high-stakes narratives might find it cozy, though the lack of multiplayer or modern updates limits its reach.

Storyline

You build up your relationship with a group of friends who've come from across the seas to Fruits Village. To strengthen your relationship, you'll have to win at the over forty mini games included in the game. Friends who've gotten really fond of you will build a home, open stores and help make Fruits Village a fun place for all! How fun can you make Fruits Village before the start of the big festival? All in all, more than 40 mini-games are included.
