About

This Game Boy Advance platformer from Open Sesame and published by Bandai tasks players with guiding two characters Cure Black and Cure White through puzzle-filled stages. Each level requires switching between the duo to solve environmental challenges like unlocking paths or activating switches. With nine standard stages and a boss battle in each of five worlds the game emphasizes cooperative problem solving within a single-player format. The controls are simple but precise enough to handle the tricky platforming sections that dot the levels. Based on the long-running Precure anime series this 2004 release was the first video game adaptation of the franchise. The story follows the heroes recovering stolen fragments of a dream power source across themed worlds though the focus remains squarely on the gameplay. While the GBA’s hardware keeps visuals modest the colorful character designs and catchy music help sell the whimsical tone. The blend of timing-based puzzles and action has earned a cult following among handheld platformer collectors.

Storyline

Elder from the Garden of Light has called Misumi Nagisa and Yukishiro Honoka over to tell them the Evil King has stolen the Power of Dreams from the Garden of Dreams. Since this is the source of people's dreams, it's essential to take it back to where it belongs right away. While the Power was being transported, an accident broke it into many pieces. The girls are tasked with getting these fragments, which take the shape of hearts, back from five different worlds.
