Fuzz Power is a quirky side-scrolling platformer where you control a balding character named Fuzzy. His goal is to reach the mysterious land of Guru by navigating levels filled with floating hairdryers, comb-wielding enemies, and other grooming hazards. Each hit from these objects chips away at his hair, and losing it all ends the game. The simplicity of the mechanics clashes with the absurdity of the premise, creating a charmless but challenge-focused experience. The game stands out for its bizarre concept and relentless difficulty, though neither are particularly memorable. With its 1991 release and inclusion in the Action 52 cartridge, it’s more of a curiosity than a standout title. The hair-themed obstacles and retro visuals might appeal to niche fans of obscure platformers, but the lack of polish or personality keeps it from aging well.
