Gaist Crusher lets you pilot a mecha squad battling alien-metal creatures in 2064. You control a unit of three mechs using real-time combat with melee and ranged attacks. Missions mix exploration, base defense, and direct assaults. The 3DS version adds stereoscopic views of crumbling cities and metallic foes. Each mech has distinct abilities and upgrade paths. Play solo or team up locally for co-op or competitive matches. The game’s fast-paced battles and cooperative modes stand out. While not a massive hit, it earned praise for its smooth controls and varied mission design. Treasure’s development polish and Capcom’s publishing reach gave it solid production value. The 3DS port leverages local multiplayer effectively, and the sci-fi mecha theme appeals to fans of tactical action. Since its 2013 launch, it remains a niche but well-crafted entry in the genre.
