Galactic Warriors is an arcade fighting game from Konami released in 1985. Players battle through six stages with shifting gravity-themed environments using a joystick and three buttons. The combat introduces mechanics like block damage, air-blocking, and throwing projectiles. Each match lets you switch between armed and unarmed attacks with varying strength levels. You can pilot one of three Mechas, Samson, Gaea, or Poseidon, each with their own moves. The final showdown has you facing your chosen robot, which gains an extra weapon after you defeat it the first time. This game laid groundwork for future fighters with its modern health bar and timer-based rounds. If the clock hits zero, the player with the most damage loses, tracked by life bars that shift from blue to pink. It uses a life system without continues, meaning one loss ends the game.
