Gatewalkers is a co-op survival RPG where you and up to three others cross randomly generated worlds to rescue stranded travelers and survive. Scavenge resources, build shelters, and battle hostile creatures while managing threats like storms, poison air, and dehydration. Each world throws new hazards at you so no two runs feel the same. Commands from a central guild guide your missions but you’ll need to rely on your squad to navigate the chaos. The game’s randomly generated maps keep exploration fresh but also add tension since danger can come from anywhere. With both co-op and solo modes available it caters to different playstyles. While the art style and combat have a decently polished feel some players note the story elements feel underdeveloped. Still the mix of teamwork and survival mechanics has earned it a steady following on PC and Switch.

Storyline

As a Gatewalker, one of the chosen few, you can go through the Gate and explore the worlds that lay on the other side. Team up with up to 3 other players in this team-based survival. Fight terrifying monsters, survive extreme weather conditions, follow the orders given by the Guild, and most importantly, stay alive!
