Gaung is a horror adventure game where you play Rani, trapped in a cavernous maze filled with supernatural threats. You solve environmental puzzles to advance while avoiding ghostly entities that hunt you. The cave shifts unpredictably, forcing you to balance exploration with survival as you piece together its cursed history. Combat isn't an option, your tools are stealth and quick thinking. The game leans heavily into atmospheric tension, using creaking sounds and flickering lights to keep you on edge. Its puzzle design mixes logic with environmental storytelling, revealing backstory through decayed murals and fragmented journals. While early access reviews note some repetition in enemy encounters, the claustrophobic setting and sudden jump scares earn praise from fans of psychological horror.
