About

Gensou Sekai: Eastland Saga follows Reimu as she struggles to regain her memory after a brutal attack leaves her vulnerable and confused. Players guide her through a series of turn-based battles where positioning and strategy matter, using commands like attack, cast spells, or heal to counter waves of monsters. As the story unfolds, new allies join your party by completing quests and overcoming challenges, expanding your tactical options. Exploration plays a key role in uncovering secrets and progressing through the narrative. Developed by Chibikko Nyannyan and released in late 2012, this indie RPG blends classic JRPG mechanics with a whimsical art style. While it lacks modern polish, its straightforward combat and gradual difficulty curve make it approachable for casual players. With a runtime of around 15, 20 hours, it’s a modest but self-contained adventure that prioritizes clean mechanics over elaborate worldbuilding. The game remains a cult pick among fans of older-school tactical RPGs, though its small footprint and dated visuals may surprise newcomers expecting a more ambitious production.
