You’re not here to haunt one house in Ghost Master. Instead you manage a full roster of ghosts in the sleepy town of Gravenville. Each specter has distinct traits and abilities like making walls bleed or cutting power in rooms. Your goal is to scare residents just enough to build plasm energy without driving them away. Balance the chaos, too many scares and your targets will flee making it harder to reach your goals. Scenarios unfold across 3D spaces like hospitals and police stations where you deploy ghosts strategically. The game’s AI makes humans act surprisingly lifelike cooking arguing and fleeing in irrational fear when spooked. This adds layers of unpredictability as you adjust tactics on the fly. Released in 2003 it runs on PC Mac Xbox and PS2. A cult following has grown around its mix of spooky strategy and absurd humor like ghosts arguing over whose turn it is to scare a janitor.
