Gnomageddon was a third-person shooter in development by SIE San Diego Studio for PlayStation 4 and Vita. The project aimed to be a multiplayer deathmatch experience where players controlled garden gnomes in combat scenarios similar to other console shooters of its time. Early footage surfaced online showing gameplay clips that hinted at a fast-paced, chaotic battle environment before the studio closed down operations entirely. The game never saw an official release after rumors of its existence led to a cancellation announcement in late 2016. All development work stopped when Sony decided to shut down the San Diego studio. Fans managed to preserve some early video clips from YouTube, giving us a rare look at what could have been. There are no community ratings or player scores available since nobody actually got to play the finished product. The title remains an example of a project that disappeared before reaching players despite generating interest during its brief development phase.
