About

Jake McCorly is a New York cop in the late 21st century battling personal grief while chasing a string of missing persons cases. A violent explosion at his apartment kicks off a tangled mystery involving vanished sex workers, shadowy officials, and a conspiracy that stretches beyond the city. Played as a point-and-click adventure, the game blends investigative puzzle solving with a noir-tinged sci-fi narrative. You piece together clues, interrogate suspects, and uncover a story where the line between official cover-ups and alien interference blurs. The game’s cel-shaded visuals give it a distinct comic book aesthetic that sets it apart from other adventures of its era. While the 2008 release date means it’s a relic now, its pulpy story and atmospheric world still draw praise from retro gaming circles. Some players call it a hidden gem for fans of offbeat sci-fi mysteries, though the pacing can drag in later chapters. A cult followings persists online, with forums debating its unresolved plot threads.
