Golf Construction Set is a golf simulation game for one to four players on Commodore systems. Compete in Match or Tournament Play with individual handicaps. Manually set or randomize weather and terrain conditions. A split-screen view shows your perspective on the left and the course layout on the right. Choose clubs and fine-tune each shot with directional, angle, and spin controls. Timing your swing strength is crucial for accuracy. The split-screen design and shot customization were notable for its time. Allowing players to tweak every detail from weather to ball trajectory made it feel more strategic than typical sports titles. Though primitive by modern standards, it offered a hands-on golf experience that some 80s gamers still recall fondly.
