About

Golgotha casts you as a lone investigator trespassing inside Black Waters Station, a derelict train hub frozen in time. Your task is to piece together the site’s grim history through scattered documents, cryptic audio logs, and environmental clues. The game leans into slow-burn tension rather than jump scares, with a focus on navigating decaying corridors and piecing together the events that turned the station into a death trap. The environment itself acts as a character, with creaking metal, flickering lights, and the ever-present sense of something watching from the shadows. The game’s strength lies in its oppressive atmosphere and layered storytelling. Set across two timelines, 1942’s wartime collapse and 2003’s doomed reopening, it weaves a tale of tragedy and neglect that feels both personal and haunting. While the lack of combat or complex puzzles may not suit everyone, fans of methodical exploration and psychological horror will find plenty to unpack. With a 78% average user rating, Golgotha succeeds as a chilling walk through a place that history tried to forget.

Storyline

In 1942, Black Waters Station was overcome by a toxic and poisonous fog that killed thousands of people as they slept in the tunnels and platforms of the station to escape the war. After the horrific ordeal the authorities closed the doors to Black Waters and sealed it off to the public. In 2003 the station was officially reopened to the public. But after several freak accidents and unexplainable deaths, it was once again closed for good. It has been abandoned and undisturbed for over 20 years. Until now…
