Goreball is a fast paced action game where you battle hordes of enemies using a single weapon the Goreball. Each level throws waves of foes at you requiring quick reflexes and smart use of limited upgrades. The simplicity of having only one tool forces creative approaches to combat balancing offense and defense in tight encounters. Short levels keep the action intense but the challenge ramps up quickly demanding precision and timing. Developed by Brandon Yu and Zenson Ng for the GMTK Game Jam 2019 this title leans into its "Only One" theme with relentless energy. While brief the core loop of upgrading and surviving creates high replayability. Players praise its brutal difficulty and satisfying progression. With clean visuals and punchy sound design Goreball packs a surprising amount of depth into its compact package. A quick but memorable experience for fans of intense action challenges.
