Combat revolves around shooting, ramming, or bombing your rival while managing fuel, ammo, and shields. If resources run low you return to a base to resupply but risk being attacked during landing. Levels split between dogfighting and racing modes, with the latter requiring precise navigation through gravity-affected mazes. Each level has distinct themes like Grass Worlds or Slime Worlds, offering varied visuals but consistent physics-based gameplay. The game shines in customization. Players tweak physics variables for their ship’s behavior, creating tailored experiences. A level editor for registered users expanded the content, letting players craft new stages. With its focus on local multiplayer and physics tinkering, Gravity Force 2 became a staple of Amiga’s 90s cave-flying scene.
