About

Gray Death is a tense puzzle platformer where survival hinges on precision and resourcefulness. Play as Gray, navigating dark, claustrophobic levels teeming with demons and traps. Each move matters, ammo and health are scarce, death is immediate, and enemies lurk around corners. The gameplay blends quick reflexes with environmental problem solving, requiring you to time jumps, dodge attacks, and scavenge for supplies to progress. The story is sparse but urgent, centered on Gray’s desperate search for his wife in a collapsed compound. The game’s retro charm and difficulty curve set it apart. Inspired by 80s-style arcade titles, its 20+ levels escalate from manageable to punishing, demanding near-perfect execution. Community stats show 75% of players finished on higher difficulty settings, proof of its unforgiving design. Sharp pixel art and atmospheric sound design amplify the dread, while linear level structure keeps the focus on tight platforming. No frills, just relentless tension and a throwback challenge that’ll test your patience.

Storyline

After weeks of searching for food and supplies, Gray returns back to the compound he helped build. Gray finds his friend Red dying from a gunshot wound and learns that a group mutinied and another fled. He hopes his wife is one of those who fled and pursues after her.
