Green Top is a puzzle platformer with RPG and Metroidvania elements set in a world where robots battle invasive plant life. You play as a stripped-down copper robot in a junkyard, scavenging limbs from defeated enemies to gain new tools. Early upgrades include a flamethrower arm to burn copper-eating vegetation and a water arm to spread it. These choices directly alter the environment, opening pathways or creating hazards. Movement relies on climbing surfaces that degrade over time forcing you to balance exploration with resource management. Combat is minimal but leverages your collected abilities to manipulate the terrain. The game stands out for its tight environmental puzzles and branching consequences. Every decision impacts access to areas and enemy encounters. Though short in length it maintains a brisk pace with clever level design. Community feedback highlights the creative use of opposing tools and the satisfying trade-offs they create. Available on PC and Linux it offers a niche but polished experience for fans of resourceful platforming.
The Robot World has been taken over by copper-eating grass. You wake up in a junkyard as a copper robot with no arms and you have the ability to use leftover parts from scrapped or infected robots. In the junkyard, you find a fire robot with a flamethrower arm that you salvage from his remains and equip. This arm allows you to burn the Green (the copper-eating vegetation) and boosts your jumps. Hidden in a secret room in the junkyard, you find a water robot, partially decimated by the Green. You grab and equip its arm which allows you to spread the infection to other copper tiles. With the option to burn the Green or spread it, which one will you choose?
