Gross flips the script on tower defense by letting you build traps then switch to a gun to fight through them. You handle both base management and direct combat collecting coins to upgrade defenses while surviving increasingly chaotic enemy waves. The first person perspective keeps action tight and responsive balancing strategic planning with reflex-heavy moments. The game’s hook is its back-and-forth gameplay loop. You’ll lay down turrets and tripwires then immediately wade into the chaos to clear out breaches. Set in a bizarre world where greed spreads like a virus the story follows a cross country drive to find a cure. Released in early 2023 it’s a PC-only affair with a single player campaign that blends resource management and shooter mechanics in a way few games attempt.
