Grudge Warriors throws you into a chaotic mix of tank combat and problem solving. You take control of one of 11 armored vehicles each loaded with four standard weapons and one exclusive fifth weapon. The goal is to clear maps dominated by enemy tanks turrets and obstacles while completing specific tasks. The game alternates between straightforward shooting and moments requiring you to figure out environmental puzzles to progress. Split screen lets two players tackle these challenges head to head. The standout feature is the variety of vehicles each offering distinct playstyles thanks to their unique fifth weapon. While the 2000 release date and PlayStation 1 visuals show their age the fast paced action and mix of genres still hold appeal for retro fans. The split screen mode in particular remains a solid option for local multiplayer clashes despite limited post release support.
