"Guess the Word on the Nintendo Switch has been adapted from the mobile market and even though it presents itself as an educational game, its value as such a work is very limited. Short in content, with only one gaming mode and lacking in the very element it bases itself on, Guess the Word does not fulfill any of its objectives and will feel too limited and too short for everyone, including its target audience."

Guess the Character is a two player card game that turns guesswork into a quick back and forth showdown. Each round one player picks a character from a themed set while the other asks yes or no questions to figure it out. The roles swap after each round keeping the pace brisk and the tension high. With simple rules and short matches it plays like a board game version of 20 Questions but with more direct sniping. The Switch port makes it easy to slide into a couch co op session or portable duel. While the character pool stays tight it leans into replayability by letting players create custom entries. No need for a big group or lengthy setup makes it a go to for splitting time with a friend. The straightforward design doesn't chase flashiness but nails the core thrill of outthinking your opponent.
