Guild Hall Adventures lets you start as a nobody in a destroyed hometown before gathering resources to rebuild a new town from the ground up. You fight through hordes of monsters using hack-and-slash combat while managing research trees to unlock better weapons and tools. The game switches between exploring dungeons, recruiting heroes, and defending your settlement against waves of enemies in both single player and co-op modes. Your goal is to restore the ruined Guild Hall and eventually face the King of Monsters. The community seems to like the balance between town building and combat since the title has held a solid 4.5 rating on Steam. What really stands out is how the story ties your survival directly to the strength of your recruited team rather than just character stats. You can recruit peasants to work your farms or train warriors to fight alongside you in real time battles. Storyline

Startup as a nobody, learn the basic skills in your hometown and start to build a life. Then have it all taken away from you by a horde of monsters. Where did they come from? Why did they kill all your friends and family and destroy your whole town? Tales of a distant Guild Hall come to mind, taking the journey to the North where the Guild Hall was supposed to reside...just to find it in ruin as well. All the tales of the heroes that were training and getting mightier each day, no hope remained. But you decided that you are going to take up the sword, build up the rubble of The Guild Hall and start your own adventuring group. Recruiting heroes and peasants to work for the town, defending against waves of monsters in a hack n slash game. Gather resources! Research new buildings, weapons, and tools. Craft new items and powerful weapons and armor. Defeat the Monster Lords and the King of Monsters! Your Journey starts with nothing, become the hero of all heroes and let's see how many waves you can survive.
