Gullet is a tense, first-person horror game where you rappel into the cavernous mouth of a colossal being after some kind of apocalyptic event. The twist is you control your descent using a physical hand brake your real-life grip tightens or loosens. The tighter you squeeze the brake in game, the slower you move down. This creates a physical link between your body and the character's survival. You navigate narrow passages and dark chambers while avoiding threats that lurk in the mouth's depths. What stands out is the way it turns your own physicality into a gameplay mechanic. The hand brake creates a visceral feedback loop between stress levels and movement speed. While no major ratings exist yet, early playtester reports note the claustrophobic atmosphere and how the physical controls amplify anxiety. It's a short but intense experience that rethinks how player bodies interact with horror scenarios.
