You move, dodge, or take cover behind wagons and cacti while trading shots with a computer opponent or a friend. The game offers four distinct modes to keep things fresh. Standard and Sixshooter duels let you race to seven points, while the Escape Scenario flips the script so one player just needs a single hit to win. There is also a target shooting mode where you rack up points by hitting targets for one point or enemies for five. What makes this version stand out is how faithfully it captures the feel of the 1975 arcade original while adding modern control options like eight-way movement. The simple rules hide a lot of tension, especially when you realize your opponent is shooting back the whole time. Manuel Rotschkar built this from the ground up to honor the source material without adding unnecessary fluff. It runs smoothly and feels responsive, which matters more than any fancy graphics in a game like this. You just need to aim fast and hope you do not get hit first.
